Company now has complete coverage from Ottawa to Windsor across the Highway 401 corridor
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, December 5, 2024 – FIRST ONSITE Property Restoration, Canada’s leading property restoration company, today announced it has expanded operations and opened a new branch in Pickering, Ontario to serve The Regional Municipality of Durham and the surrounding area.
“Today’s announcement is great news for First Onsite’s customers in the Durham Region,” said Peter Corsano, EVP of Operations, First Onsite Property Restoration. “We now cover all of Durham and have coverage from Ottawa to Windsor across the Highway 401 corridor.”
Durham Region is comprised of eight municipalities, including Pickering, Oshawa, Ajax and Whitby. Its position within the GTA makes it an important location for First Onsite’s growth and investment. The region experiences a broad range of severe weather events including snowstorms, ice storms, extreme cold, tornadoes, flooding and extreme heat. Additionally, the region’s economic development in commercial and residential real estate makes it an increasingly attractive area for property services.
First Onsite has decades of emergency response planning, mitigation, and reconstruction experience in Ontario and across the country, supporting customers during high-risk situations due to climate change, natural disasters and weather-related events. Through its residential, commercial and large loss divisions, First Onsite helps companies, communities and homeowners overcome floods, fires, storms and all types of property damage.
“With our new Durham Region branch, we now have operations to offer enhanced support for our insurance partners, commercial clients and property management customers,” said Jason Prescott, SVP, Ontario Region, First Onsite. “Our investment in this region represents our continuing commitment to serving communities wherever and whenever emergency and disaster restoration support is required. Our clients will be very happy we are here.”
