Jeff brings over 25 years’ experience to his role as Global CEO of FIRST ONSITE. Jeff uses his extensive executive leadership, disaster recovery and management specialization to provide a global perspective for the U.S. and Canada leadership teams. With a focus on strategic planning, operational excellence and business development, Jeff has taken organizations from one to over 4,000 employees and from a single location to more than 75 strong. This leadership and industry specialization helps leaders advance the company’s accelerated growth plans while continuing to deliver exceptional team member and customer experiences.
Dave joined FIRST ONSITE in July 2009 as a member of the Board of Directors. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2010. He has extensive experience in organizational management, with a focus on the integration of entrepreneurial businesses. He has held senior leadership positions in the property and furniture restoration industry for more than 30 years.
Matt has been with FIRST ONSITE since 2007 as the Vice President of Sales, managing the national sales effort. Matt began his career as a Client Manager for Bank of America, managing top tier clients and honing his customer service skills. With a strong foundation of business and customer service, he entered the restoration industry in Texas and learned all aspects of the restoration business from the ground up. Today the National team benefits from Matt’s extensive industry knowledge and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience—every time.
Bud has 15 years of experience in the restoration and reconstruction industry. His time with FIRST ONSITE has spanned many roles—from National Project Director to on-site Project Management. He understands the technical nuances of the business and can easily communicate all aspects of any job. Bud’s diverse background allows him to easily handle projects from any industry sector. He works directly with the Executive team to develop education and training programs to help new and prospective clients save time and make better decisions in times of disaster.
Billy Short II
Billy is a respected veteran of the commercial and large loss restoration business and has led restoration responses across North America for more than 20 years. He has aided efforts in every major hurricane in the U.S. from the past decade, including Hurricanes Katrina and Ike, in addition to Canadian disasters such as the Fort McMurray wildfires in 2016 and the Goderich, Ontario F3 tornado in 2011.
Chris joined FIRST ONSITE in 2008 as National Account Manager prior to his move to Vice President of National Sales. Utilizing his extensive experience, Chris has worked alongside major national brands such as Coca-Cola and Proctor and Gamble—gaining invaluable experience in staff and account management. He has enjoyed 13 plus years of experience in the restoration and reconstruction industry and utilizes his foundation of large-scale account management in his daily practices.
With over 30 years of restoration experience, Sam has served as an umpire on several large and complex cases. Sam is a Certified Restorer, Past President of the Restoration Industry Association, and former Vice President of the Indoor Air Quality Association. Sam is also a former First Assistant Chief and a lifetime member of the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad. In 2005 and 2009, Mr. Bergman was presented the Phoenix Award of Excellence and Innovation in Restoration by the RIA. In addition, Sam currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Quality, Safety, and Professional Affairs Committee at National Rehabilitation Hospital, MedStar Health.
Karla joined Interstate Restoration (now FIRST ONSITE) in 1998 as a vice president responsible for business development. Throughout her early years, she served on the executive team and managed a growing team of sales representatives. She has 30+ years of experience working with and serving the insurance industry as well as assisting commercial clients in their disaster recovery efforts. In her current role as Executive Vice President of Hospitality and Multifamily, she is responsible for the overall sales leadership, execution, and strategic planning for these practices across North America.
Brian has been a member of the Executive Team for 14 years. With over 24 years of experience in the restoration and reconstruction business, Brian understands the technical nuances of the business and can easily communicate the important aspects of any job. He is responsible for establishing the policies and procedures which allow our branch and regional leaders to achieve their goals with consistency and ensures that we are delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. Brian is also responsible for the oversight of our Fleet, Logistics, and Purchasing teams for the U.S.
Brett has been in the industry for over 20 years, growing and cultivating our national account base of hospitality clients. As Senior Vice President of Hospitality, Brett will lead the team with a goal to grow and expand FIRST ONSITE’s hospitality practice and increase market share.
Jason Bolin is the Senior Vice President of Healthcare Sales at First Onsite. He has been in the restoration industry for 25 years and has always had a passion for the Healthcare practice. Jason was on the operational side of the industry for most of his career which enabled him to become familiar with hospital operations and the attention to detail that is necessary to ensure occupant safety while performing work in a Healthcare facility.
Jeff has been in the relationship business for more than 25 years. Jeff’s primary responsibilities at FIRST ONSITE are to strategically grow relationships and manage clients’ needs. While Jeff has only been in the restoration and reconstruction business for 2 years, he understands the technical nuances of the business and can easily communicate the important aspects of any project. Jeff drives key initiatives for his team to follow delivering an excellent customer
experience. Jeff handles a diverse portfolio within many industry sectors including automotive dealerships, large-box retail, movie theatres, and retirement/assisted living homes.
Kristy brings 20+ years of experience to the industry and has extensive knowledge and connections within the Facilities Management practice. As the Senior Vice President of the Facilities Management practice, Kristy is responsible for the overall sales leadership, execution, and strategic planning across North America. She also services clients in many other practices including insurance, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, and multifamily.
Paul brings over 30 years of experience to his role as Senior Vice President of Industrial & Manufacturing Sales. He has extensive experience in providing executive leadership in global sales of restoration, loss prevention engineering and risk management consulting services which provides a unique perspective for the First Onsite leadership team. He has led a global sales team with a demonstrated history of delivering results and providing strategic solutions to his customers and teams. He is skilled at business development and relationship management and remains focused on communication, collaboration, critical thinking, strategic vision, and building long-lasting and productive relationships.
Amanda has been in the Multifamily Industry for almost 25 years. She began her career onsite as a property manager and moved into a regional role years later. Amanda transitioned to the vendor side a little over 10 years ago as a Regional Sales Manager at Scentair and Director of Sales at Elite Flooring. Throughout her career in Multifamily she experienced dozens of property losses and understands the client needs from both owner and vendor perspectives.
David Heitman is the Executive Vice President, Client Solutions of First Onsite Property Restoration. As a 25+year industry veteran of emergency commercial and residential disaster restoration. Through strategic partnerships within the restoration community and David’s entrepreneurial acumen, David has created exponential growth over the last 7 years and continues to drive growth for First Onsite. David cares deeply for the teams that work with him and is committed to both the business and individuals’ success. He has served on various industry and community boards.
