First Onsite Strengthens Specialty Insurance Team to Support B.C.’s Multi-Residential and Claims Sectors

First Onsite Property Restoration, one of Canada’s leading property restoration providers, is strengthening its specialty insurance leadership in British Columbia as part of its continued growth across the province. This investment enhances the company’s ability to support insurers, adjusters, property managers, and strata councils across B.C.’s evolving multi-residential and claims environment.

As part of this continued investment, First Onsite is pleased to announce two new additions to its Specialty Insurance team in Vancouver: James Kozak as Senior Vice President, Specialty Insurance, and Emily Szabo as Business Development Manager, Specialty Insurance.

James Kozak brings nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance and claims industry, with a foundation as a claims adjuster and a track record in business development and leadership across Western Canada. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles with leading organizations including independent adjusting, multi-disciplinary professional services, and restoration firms, where he was instrumental in building strategic partnerships and delivering client-focused solutions. James is known for his deep understanding of the claims process, his collaborative leadership style, and his commitment to client service and strengthening relationships across the insurance community.

Emily Szabo comes to First Onsite with a background in the insurance and client partnership space, having worked closely with brokers, adjusters, and industry stakeholders to build long-term business relationships. Her focus on strong client relationships and her understanding of the claims environment position her well to deepen First Onsite’s ties to B.C.’s strata community.

In her new role, Emily will focus on strengthening First Onsite’s relationships with strata councils and property managers, helping clients across B.C.’s strata sector access proactive planning and responsive support when they need it most.
