DENVER (Aug. 28, 2019) – A pair of fundraising events sponsored by FIRST ONSITE will infuse some first-responder organizations in the Denver metro area with at least $7,500.
FIRST ONSITE was a primary sponsor of the First Responders Appreciation Event for the City of Aurora last weekend, which was worth $2,500 to the organization. FIRST ONSITE will also contribute $5,000 to the Denver Firefighters Charitable Foundation as part of its annual golf tournament in Lakewood, Colorado, on Sept. 11. This is FIRST ONSITE’s 8th year of participation in the event.
“In a huge majority of our projects, we end up working closely – sometimes even side-by-side – with first responders, and we hope our involvement in these events demonstrates our support and sincere gratitude,” said Stacy Mazur, CEO of FIRST ONSITE.
FIRST ONSITE is one of the largest emergency restoration and reconstruction service providers for commercial enterprises in North America. While the company is based in Fort Worth, it also has executive and service offices in the Denver metro area, with a large number of employees, many of whom participated in the recent Appreciation Event.
Over the years, FIRST ONSITE has contributed more than $30,000 to first responders in the Denver metro area. FIRST ONSITE also presented at the Appreciation Event educational information about recovery from flood, wind, fire and other property damage.
“The work that we see these first responders perform on various disaster projects is daunting, to say the least,” said Lauren Perkins, FIRST ONSITE’s Regional Manager for Business Development in the Denver office. “First responders make a big difference in the community and we hope our contribution aids in their efforts.”
