First Onsite’s Social Purpose

Restoring more than property — we help restore lives, communities, and hope.

At First Onsite, our work goes far beyond walls and roofs. We believe in being a force for good in the communities we serve — not only during disasters, but every day. Our social purpose is rooted in compassion, service, and the belief that when people come together, resilience grows stronger.

Our Relief Fund: Helping Our Own in Times of Crisis

When disaster strikes on our own, we step up.

The Relief Fund, setup by our parent company, FirstService Corporation, was created to support employees facing unexpected personal hardship — from house fires and natural disasters to medical emergencies and family loss. Through this confidential support program, employees can apply for financial help or nominate colleagues in need.

Every donation and dollar reflects the care we show each other — because we support our team through every challenge

Summer of Service: Giving Back Where We Live and Work

We restore property for a living, but giving back is part of who we are.

Our Summer of Service program empowers team members across North America to volunteer in their local communities — from food banks and housing organizations to local cleanups and fundraising drives.

We believe that if every team member contributes just a small amount of their time to give back, the power of many will shine in our communities.

Example of Impact:

First Onsite’s Step into Sustainability challenge in April had 300+ team members logging steps and completing eco-friendly tasks like picking up litter, planting native seeds, using reusable bags, and carpooling. The Corporate Strategy team logged 267+ miles daily.

Stories That Matter:

In Atlantic, we proudly support the Ronald McDonald House through proceeds from our Dartmouth branch’s annual silent auction and 50/50 sales at the Annual Golf Tournament. This support helps families with ill or injured children stay close to the medical care they need.

The Surrey branch partnered with the City of Surrey to launch a monthly street clean-up campaign through the Adopt-A-Street program. First Onsite is committed to cleaning 192nd Street and 96th Avenue near our facility at least once a month.

Sheltering Hope is First Onsite’s initiative to support animal shelters. This summer, in partnership with Happy Days Sanctuary, we’re matching public donations up to $10,000 to help provide safe shelter, care, and a second chance for animals in need.

Our Purpose: Building Resilience, Together

First Onsite exists to help people and communities recover — and our social purpose is an extension of that mission.

Whether through financial relief, acts of service, or everyday kindness, we stand by the belief that restoration is not just technical — it’s deeply human.
